(250403) -- NEW YORK, April 3, 2025 (Xinhua) -- A trader works on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange in New York, the United States, on April 3, 2025. U.S. stocks ended lower on Thursday. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell by 1,679.39 points, or 3.98 percent, to 40,545.93. The S&P 500 sank 274.45 points, or 4.84 percent, to 5,396.52. The Nasdaq Composite Index shed 1,050.44 points, or 5.97 percent, to 16,550.6. (Xinhua/Liu Yanan)
